Denon Professional’s most affordable pro grade CD player, the DN-C620, was launched at the beginning of this month. The DN-C620 incorporates all of the features required by today’s most demanding broadcast facilities.

Advanced playback features are as follows.

A ‘finish’ mode function, with a selectable preset option of either Stop / Cue of the following track, or Recue of the current track, when the unit is in single play mode.

RS-232 control provides for integration with third party serial control systems and can output ISRC and POS codes from commercial CD releases, as well as CD-Text and ID-3 tag information. A 25 pin GPIO parallel control port facilitates full integration within broadcast systems, including fader start functionality.

ANR-B intelligently identifies and suppresses environmental broadband noise, hum, phone line artifacts and more, dramatically increasing the quality of audio broadcasts involving radio call-in programs and on-location broadcasting. iZotope’s ANR-B actually detects noise in real-time and adapts to changing noise over time, allowing for automatic operation with little to no input required from the user.
